At Grosvenor House, our overriding aim is to be proactive when dealing with our clients businesses – but what does that really mean?
Proactive is the opposite of reactive. Reactive practices will act on your instructions but apart from the bill, you’ll rarely have any interaction. Our proactive approach means that we work closely with our clients throughout the year, preparing interim accounts on a regular basis so that there are no surprises.
We have developed a number of different initiatives to help with this, most of which revolve around a well thought out and properly discussed set of forecasts and budgets, which have been designed to fit around the longer term objectives of the individuals and the business. This would typically involve us agreeing a profit target with our clients, preparing forecast profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flows, and then dealing with the reporting of the actual against the targets to ensure that everything is on track.
We often find clients have a sense that things are not quite right within their business, but they have a ‘fog’ in front of them, and often simply don’t know where to start – we find that our experience with different types of businesses and people enables us to advise, in a systematic way, the areas of maximum impact for the business owner to focus on – and we have a huge database and library of resources to assist them. Examples of the type of services we provide are below. This is not an exhaustive list of our services, which we tailor to meet individual clients’ needs:
There are many, many more examples of these services offered by our practice. The message is that, if you would like us to, we are here to get involved in any and every aspect of your business, and we are confident that any investment in our services in these areas will result in a return.
